What To Do During The Interview
During the Interview
If you have built rapport with an interviewer by shaking hands confidently, acting comfortable during the interview, and making eye contact, you are on your way to being hired.
Although the interviewer will do the majority of talking, asking all of the questions, it is crucial that you ask some questions yourself. Nothing will show the interviewer that you are actually interested in working at his/her company more than asking good questions.
You should not be afraid to ask questions about the company, your expected role at the company, and how you can get ahead if you are hired.
However, do not ask "dumb" questions. This is not a classroom. You are expected to know some basic information about a company you are trying to work at. Don't ask silly questions, and don't sound over-presumptuous about your position. If you come off arrogant, you will ruin your chances at getting hired.
