Documents and Multimedia in Your VR
Document Portfolio
This is one of the most powerful tools of the Vision-Résumé. This section is perfect for letters of recommendation, project overviews that you have worked on, papers that you have written, or anything that you would like to show off to your potential employer. Now, chances are that the first time the employer views your Vision-Résumé, he or she will not read these documents. But, you can be assured that when it comes down to you and another qualified candidate, your document section will be reviewed.

This is an opportunity to put your best face forward. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so choose wisely! We recommend including a head shot of yourself. Be sure to select an appropriate picture (no revealing clothing, bad shadows, red eyes, crazy facial expressions, or sunglasses). If you wouldn't look that way in an interview, don't present yourself that way on your Vision-Résumé. If you don't have a good picture to include, don't worry about it. You can always take or have a good picture taken and include it in the future.
As far as other picture options, try to choose photos that are work-related. If you must have a family portrait in there, fine, but it probably isn't that important to a potential employer. A picture of a project you worked on, award you received, or anything else that is work related, would be good to show. Avoid putting nonsense pictures of a family vacation. Project the appropriate image.
